First all, I have changed my pronouns on my profile to he/him. I came out as a trans guy back in November 2014 so six years ago when I was about 22 and started the long struggle of my journey. I didn't know how difficult it would be, it's different for everyone, some have it easy, some don't...we struggle, we fight, we claw our way through all the damn hoops we have to jump through by society alone. The backlash from family, friends, people we know, even strangers we don't know. Some of us are scared to come out to our family like myself and do the dumb thing, run away because I didn't know how they would react...my dad's family is catholic and sure they took it well when I came out as gay when I was in college basically. My parents however didn't react well when I came out my senior year of high school(dad eventually came around a while later), my mom never got over it. And them formerly being in the Army they didn't take it well. SO with their reactions alone from me coming out as
